Christening or 1st birthday cake
I have been busy making my niece her christening cake. My sister asked for pink,pink and more pink! so here it is!
I hope she likes it. it took me hours to decorate it! and I'm really pleased with the result!
I decided to base it on a baby crib. (or moses basket) The hardest part was getting the hood to stand up. But once Id got that sorted it was pretty plain sailing really. A beautiful cake for a beautiful little girl!

that is amazing...I can't even imagine all the hours that cake would take (not to mention the amount of icing) You did a wonderful job!
thank you. it was surely a work from the heart! It took me two days to complete the icing and i have to say it was one of my best works so far. My other niece is being christened next month and so i have to recreate it again in a different colour!
