mitterns and more

so this week i have been knitting

ive made a cardigan for my little girl. it was knitted on super chunky wool so it only took acouple of hours to knit up.

then i made some mitterns for myself for the winter time,

they are made with a new type of wool ive found. its knits up as if you are working on a fairisle pattern, its very pretty and very effective.

ohh and i will have lovely warm hands in the winter!

needle felted jewlery

i made these today

they are rolled up peices of felt that are then needle felted to help them stick togeather

im really pleased with them but in particular the red and black ones!

im slowly learning that craft can be anything made with everything!

it has really gave me some inspiration.

this week she was having a lesson in cake decorating and made some lovely roses. im going to see if i can do the same thing with fimo to make ornaments!

jewery making

hello

well this week i decided to try some jewlery making.

i had lots of fun trying different beads and styles. i put some of my creations on my misi site and they sold really well! im quite excited about this.

photography is one of the arts i really enjoy and i like taking pictures of people when they are unaware as i find i get far better results. people being natural make some brilliant pictures!

im really having fun learning new techniques and stles. i still cant read a crochet pattern but im sure i will get there!

been busymaking bags and purses.

i have lined them all and they are all handmade by me!

i just crocheted these little slipper socks for princess.

they will keep her toes warm when we go camping!

we bought the princess a sewing machine from the carboot sale! she loves it!

she keeps" sewing" scraps of fabric from my scrap box!

i thought id try my hand at making clothes.
i started with trousers as they seemed to be quite easy to do!
i used different fabrics and some bold colours and patterns.
i love them! they dont sell these in the shops!
