 Happy new year!  

It’s time for a new year, a new start blah blah blah!  

Many people have New Year’s resolutions but I tend not to. I tend to make chances through the year as and when the ideas take me. One thing I do want to do is blog and journal more. I restarted journalling in November and I feel like it keeps me focused. 

In my work life I can be under a lot of pressure so it is good to just relax and let the creativity flow. 

One of my goals last year was to finish a superking size throw for our bed. It was a chore and one at times, I wish I’d never started! But I completed just before Christmas. 

I had crocheted a square with left over wool every time I finished a project.  All in all it has taken two years.  We have it as a throw over our duvet and it is super cosy!  It’s very welcome while the weather has been so cold.  

I intend to start another one for a present.  It will probably take just as long as I shall use the same method as before and work each square between projects.
