Happy spring to you!

 Hello All

Great weather we are having isn’t it?  I love it when the sun is shining. It really lifts the spirits doesn’t it?  With everything that is happening in the world right now it’s good to find joy in things. 

Lately I’ve been finding joy in sewing. In particular the Luna Lapin collection. 

I recently made this bunny for a baby due this summer. I also made Maurice the mole but he’s so hard to photograph!

Our Grandaughters will be three years old in April and I’m trying to stay away from buying mass produced, plastic toys. Instead I’m making her a little felt play set. Animals, a play mat etc. she likes little fiddly toys so I think she will like it. 

We all have to do our best to save the planet from landfill and unfortunately a lot of plastic toys end up as just that.
